Since graduating from The Victorian College of The Arts in Melbourne, Alice has worked steadily as an actor in Australian and international film, television and theatre. Her feature film credits include leading roles in the forthcoming Bait 3D and The Cup, and also in Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are and the James Cameron produced Sanctum (in which she dons a very natural American accent). She also appeared in Bruce Beresford’s Mao’s Last Dancer and in Gavin Hood’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine (as Wolverine’s Mum!).
Over the past 6 years, Alice has also worked extensively as a Voice Artist in various films, radio-plays, television and radio commercials, and instructional videos. Among her various Voice Over credits, Alice was the sole narrator of the book, The Yellow Wallpaper, for ABC radio, and whenever you press the red button on your Foxtel remote, Alice’s voice is the one who’ll be guiding you through the help process. Her television credits include Dance Academy, All Saints, The Jesters, Blue Water High and The Strip. She also featured in Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg’s award-winning The Pacific.
Her theatre credits include leading roles in Sydney Theatre Company’s The Taming of the Shrew, Griffin Theatre Company’s world premiere of The Peach Season, and Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk at the Company B, Belvoir Street Theatre.
